Gumma and Papa

This past weekend mi mama and papa came to visit. They came on Friday night and stayed until Monday afternoon. I love how in my new house I have a "mother-in-law suite." I think that's the technical name for it. What it really is is my craft room that happens to have a bed in it (a daybed with a trundle) and an attached bathroom. I even decorated the bathroom for my dad. He LOVES camping!!! He would rather be camping than doing anything else...Disneyland with me excluded!! Right Dad?!
So here is my first real attempt at decorating with a theme.

On Saturday it was raining?! We were supposed to go to Six Flags Discovery Kingdom but it would not have been very fun with the kids in that kind of weather! Also the 4th Saturday of the month is our date night. Nicole, our babysitter leaves that day just for us! So we had her come over and the four adults drove into the city (San Francisco). We had so much fun going to Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf, and to Bubba Gumps for dinner!! We walked around all the shops, saw a magic show and best of all just enjoyed each other's company!

I think Ashlyn made my mom's day the entire time my mom was here. Ashlyn only wanted my mom! And she cried when she left!!! The two of them became buddies! It warms the cockles of my heart! ;)
