The kids have been sick. First her and then him. She could not sleep laying down so one of us was holding her or she cried. Murphy suggested that we take them to the doctor, so we did. Don't you hate it when you finally get in to see the doctor and they say, "Wow. They're a mess. But there's nothing we can do for them. It has to just run it's course." Bull-honkey! Dr. Jones would have given me something to help!
So, we bring them home and Murphy suggests we give him some over-the-counter meds and we whip out her infant car seat (yes, we tried elevating her bed, she didn't care.) So we plug in the humidifier, plug in the menthol plug and stick her in her car seat. She slept for 12 hours and he slept for 11!!! But, I was up every hour or so because I had gotten sick!! Runny nose, coughing, sneezing...the kind of sickness so you can't sleep! I'm sure this wouldn't have happened if it wasn't for Murphy!
Only really good sleep can do this to hair.
Church is now at the awful time of 12:30pm. That time couldn't be worse!! Right smack dab in the middle of nap time. And I need my nap! ;) So, Murphy suggested that since last Sunday he did not get a nap and He has threatened to start attending a different ward, we put him down for a nap at 10am! Good thing him can't tell time! Well, he only slept for 45 min. but we thought he might be in a better mood later. Murphy also thought that since there are a lot of boys in nursery maybe she could help him get some of his energy out there. As it turns out, he was the ONLY one that behaved and did not run around the church when someone opened the door and they all ran out like barnyard animals getting out of their pen. He stayed with his teacher!! All Murphy's fault!! Because then he came home and was a wild banchee! He would not eat, would not sleep and would not calm down. Again...Murphy's fault!
And lastly, Murphy has been affecting her also. We got her some girls toys for Christmas. Pink things and girly dolls. But no, since Murphy has been around all that money has gone to waste! All she wants are him's cars, trucks and Lego's! She thinks him's Lego's are edible. I'm sure Murphy showed her that!
The moral to my experience is for all to beware of Murphy coming to visit your home. She may show up at anytime, so beware. So, when Murphy's Law comes knocking, don't answer! Because if anything can go wrong, with her around, it will!
Murphy turned his Cowboy hat into a Farmer Hat and every respectable Farmer needs a sword to protect, kill, stab, poke, hit, pat, and destroy...every thing!

Loved the pictures! I hope everyone feels better soon! :)
Oh I am sorry...that is no fun. Going to the doctor stinks too...usually there is nothing they can do and you go home helpless but even more tired because you took the time to get everybody ready, with their coats and all, made them be good while you were there, etc. I hope every one gets better soon!!!!!!
Hope you all feel better. . . "Dr. Jones" why does that name ring a bell? Honestly, is he the pediatrician in Fresno who treated like, ALL the McNaughton family kids?
